The Ariston Genus — HE generations through to the current Genus One — is the premium tier of Ariston's UK range: wider modulation, better controls (the Genus One with Ariston's Sensys-compatible electronics), and the brand's longer warranties. It shares the family's three-digit fault language: 1xx heating circuit, 3xx electronics, 5xx ignition/flame, 6xx air and flue, with P-suffixed anomaly codes flagged before hard lockouts. Diagnostically a Genus reads like a Clas with better equipment — same code meanings, same structure — so the range's distinguishing owner-fact is the warranty: on a registered, serviced Genus One, persistent codes should route through Ariston's support before any paid repair. Resetting a Ariston Genus
Press reset briefly to clear and retry; 108 wants a pressure top-up to 1–1.5 bar first. On an in-warranty Genus, recurring codes go to Ariston's line with your registration details — and the annual service that conditions the warranty is the same one that prevents most of these codes.
