Halstead 7
Fault code 7 on a Halstead boiler indicates that the control board is not receiving a valid speed signal from the flue fan. This could be because the fan has seized or is running too slowly, or because the RPM signal itself is absent or incorrect. With this fault active, the boiler will lock out and refuse to produce heating or hot water until the underlying problem is resolved. As the official Halstead Ace HE manual notes, any fault code above 4 requires contact with a qualified engineer — homeowners should not attempt to investigate the fan or wiring themselves.
