Ferroli F41
The F41 code appears when your Ferroli boiler's safety system detects that the temperature difference (often called Delta T or ΔT) between the flow pipe leaving the heat exchanger and the return pipe coming back has grown too large. In normal operation these two temperatures stay reasonably close together; a wide gap tells the boiler that heat is building up dangerously inside rather than being carried away efficiently around the system. When the gap exceeds the safe limit, the boiler shuts down to protect the heat exchanger from damage. In some cases the fault will clear automatically once the temperature difference drops back to 5°C or below, but if it keeps returning there is an underlying problem that needs attention.
