Glow-worm F72
The F72 fault code appears when your Glow-Worm boiler detects a persistent and unexpected temperature difference between its flow and return NTC thermistors — the sensors that monitor water temperature as it leaves and re-enters the boiler. When the gap between these two readings stays outside the expected range, the boiler concludes something is wrong with circulation, sensor accuracy, or sensor wiring, and shuts down as a precaution. Because Glow-Worm is part of the Vaillant Group and the two brands share core technology, this code has the same underlying meaning on both makes.
