Potterton Titanium Fault Codes

The Potterton Titanium was the brand's premium range — combi and system boilers with higher-grade components and Potterton's longest warranties of the period, sharing the Baxi-group platform and its E-code scheme: E119 low pressure, E133 gas/ignition, E110 overheat, plus the platform's sensor, fan and circulation codes. For owners the Titanium's story is the familiar premium one: the same code meanings as the volume ranges, encountered less often thanks to better components, and — where the boiler was registered and serviced — a warranty worth invoking before any significant paid repair. Where Titanium fault codes appear

The Titanium shows E-prefixed codes on its front display when a fault trips. Note the exact number, and if warranty may still apply, note it before anyone opens the case — the code is the first thing the support line asks for.

Resetting a Potterton Titanium

Press the reset control briefly to clear and retry. E119 wants re-pressurising to 1–1.5 bar first; winter E133s want the condensate pipe checked. Persistent codes on a warrantied Titanium belong with the support line, and elsewhere with a Gas Safe engineer — never with the reset button on repeat.

Common Titanium problems

Titaniums present the platform's pattern at reduced frequency: pressure loss, seasonal ignition lockouts, circulation codes tracking system water quality. The premium components mostly show their worth in what does not happen; where faults do recur, diagnosis follows exactly the same well-mapped paths as the rest of the Baxi-group fleet.
