Vaillant ecoFIT pure Fault Codes

The Vaillant ecoFIT pure is the brand's compact range — designed from the outset to fit in a standard kitchen cupboard, and sold as combi, system and open-vent versions. It runs the same control platform and F-code language as the ecoTEC family, so its faults read identically: F.22 low pressure, F.28/F.29 ignition and flame loss, F.75 pump/pressure sensor. What the ecoFIT adds to the diagnostic picture is its compactness. Cupboard installations mean tighter flue and condensate routing and less generous access, so condensate-related winter lockouts and service access come up more often in ecoFIT conversations than the codes themselves. The ecoFIT pure has a compact digital display showing temperature in normal running and "F." plus a number on a fault. In a cupboard install the display may be at an awkward height — a phone photo of the code is the practical move before closing the door and calling someone.

Resetting a Vaillant ecoFIT pure

Press the flame-cross reset button for about a second; the boiler clears and retries. F.22 wants a top-up to 1–1.5 bar at the filling loop first — on cupboard installs the loop is usually beneath the boiler. As across the Vaillant range: one reset is information, repeated resets are avoidance.

Common ecoFIT pure problems

The ecoFIT's fault profile tracks the platform — F.22, the F.28/F.29 pair, F.75 — with a seasonal lean toward condensate freezing where the compact flue runs outside.
