Baxi H.02-.04
The H.02-.04 fault code on Baxi boilers indicates a parameter error — the boiler's control board has either lost, corrupted, or is unable to read its own stored settings. As a safety measure, the boiler shuts down rather than operate with unreliable configuration data. On Baxi 200 and 400 series models this typically appears as a temporary blocking fault labelled as a parameter error, while on newer Baxi 600 and 800 series boilers the same code can reflect the PCB being unable to read its stored settings at all. In either case the boiler will not fire until the underlying cause is resolved. A single reset attempt is always worth trying first, but if the fault returns the issue almost certainly lies with the PCB itself and will require a Gas Safe registered engineer.
