The Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000 is the brand's flagship modern range, sold as the 8000 Life (combi, system and regular versions) and the 8000 Style (a design-led combi with a black or white glass fascia). Like all recent Worcester boilers it is a high-efficiency condensing gas boiler, and when something goes wrong it shows a fault code on the front display rather than simply going quiet. Resetting a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000

Press and hold the reset button on the front panel for a few seconds until the display confirms and the boiler attempts to re-ignite. If the fault is low system pressure, top up to around 1–1.5 bar via the filling loop first. If the same code returns immediately after a reset, stop resetting — a repeating lockout is a real fault that needs diagnosing, and repeated ignition attempts against it help nothing.

Common Greenstar 8000 problems

The faults 8000 owners report most are ignition lockouts (the EA family — the boiler tried to light and did not prove a flame), low-pressure shutdowns, and fan or flue codes in the C-series.
